Tori Spelling and Dean McDermott Engaged

Via Yahoo News - Tori Spelling, who played Donna in the 1990s teenage cult series "Beverly Hills 90210", announced her engagement to fellow TV star Dean McDermott, three months after separating from her husband.

Spelling, 32, daughter of legendary television producer Aaron Spelling, became engaged to McDermott, 39, in Toronto, Canada, they announced in a statement to People magazine.

"We're so incredibly happy and in love. We cannot wait to start our lives together," they said in the statement.

According to People's website, McDermott asked for Spelling's hand on Christmas eve as they rode to a Christmas tree farm in a horse-drawn carriage, McDermott offering Spelling a ring with diamonds and sapphires.

Last September Spelling split with spouse Charlie Shanian, also an actor, after a marriage of 14 months. Their 2004 wedding, in Aaron Spelling's 5,200 square meter Beverly Hills mansion, had 350 guests and cost one million dollars.
