Aaron Carter Injured

Pop heartthrob Aaron Carter is recovering from a surfing accident that briefly put him in the hospital.

His spokesperson confirms Carter has been discharged and is resting at home after the ocean mishap.

Although the exact cause of the accident is still unknown, a statement from the 18-year-old's publicist Wednesday reads: "(Aaron) had a minor surfing accident earlier this week.

"Although hospitalized, he has been released and is recovering nicely at home."

Last year, the accident-prone pop star described a "near-death experience" when his car exploded in a collision in Florida.
